Stakeholders explore wealth management opportunities at summit
Stakeholders at this year’s edition of wealth summit had top financial experts and business leaders guide participants on how to recognise and maximise wealth-creation opportunities.
Held at The Dome, Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in Lagos, the summit was part of activities to mark the enterprise development and people empowerment firm, The Pertinence Group’s 10thth anniversary.
This year’s theme ‘The Real Money of Lagos’ saw attendees being guided on how to recognise opportunities in real time, making suitable long-term investments with the opportunity for business mentorship from experts.
Speaking at the summit, co-founder of the Pertinence Group, Wisdom Ezekiel, who spoke on ways to identify opportunities, said they could be captured by creating solutions in the form of products.
He said awareness should be created around the solution by networking with people who have understanding about the solution and staying distinct with a continuous zeal for learning.
Commissioner for youths and sports, Oyo State, Ṣeun Fakorede, implored attendees to cut out excuses, seek and pursue opportunities as well as establish relationship and maximize said relationships.
Speaking on The Mind Of A Wealthy Man, co-founder, Sunday Olorunsheyi, stressed that for good investment; mentorship, salesmanship, risk-taking, being a visionary and giver are traits a good investor must possess to be successful.
Adding that real estate is the future of wealth in Lagos, he said it is the one sector in the country that has not suffered devaluation but rather has appreciated significantly in the last few years.
