Fast-rising writer and director for stage, Joy Isi Bewaji, whose two last stage plays – Satan and Bad Woman – recently received warm accolade on Lagos theatre stage, will return again on Sunday, December 23, with yet another expository and possibly explosive performance titled The Convenient Asshole.

And so “Charles, a rich, suave businessman, hires a prostitute for the night. The night unveils a twist. They find themselves engaged in other forms of business. Therapy is the last thing Charles wants. But pain is not something he can hide.”

The Convenient Asshole, a production of writecultureng, is written and directed by Bewaji. It stars Bryan Okoye, Tolulope Odewumi, Nene Nwanyo, and Olawale Junaid. Show time is 3pm and 7pm at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
