
Olaniyi Tumininu, better known as ChefT, has carved a remarkable journey in the culinary world. As the CEO and Founder of Homeoftastymeals, she has transformed her love for cooking into a thriving business empire.
With a background in Business Administration from the University of Lagos (Unilag), ChefT’s journey began as a passion. In 2017, she embarked on a culinary adventure that would change her life forever. Reflecting on her early years, ChefT recalls being a “lazy, spoiled kid.” However, destiny had other plans, and cooking emerged as her path to success.

Hailing from a family of six, ChefT is the youngest and proudly admits to being her father’s favorite. Her culinary expertise has not gone unnoticed, earning her several prestigious awards. As she puts it, “Passion led me to this culinary journey.”
Homeoftastymeals has a global reach, serving clients in 85% of countries worldwide. ChefT’s vision extends to establishing the biggest walk-in restaurant in Ikeja GRA, Nigeria, and expanding her culinary empire to Canada. Her goal is to run a food-in-bowl restaurant for same-day orders and delivery, challenging conventional thinking in the industry.
ChefT’s achievements are celebrated through various awards, including the African Brands Award in 2023 and the Creative Chef of the Year award in 2019. She emphasizes the importance of hard work and consistency, saying, “Rome wasn’t built in a day; with consistency, hard work, and prayers, you can do anything.”
Her personal motto celebrates the untapped potential of women, acknowledging them as “the largest untapped reservoir of talent in the world.” ChefT’s culinary journey is a testament to the power of passion and dedication in turning dreams into reality.
