GMG Boss reveals secret behind hit single, “Matter”
Ukrainian based Nigerian artiste, Olajide Orodo a.k.a GMG Boss has revealed how the title of his hit single “Matter” came about.
The Afro fusion musician made this known during an interview with Rhythm FM during his radio tour across the country.
Speaking during the interview, GMG Boss noted that “Matter” was born out of controversies surrounding people of the world.
In the interview, he explained that ” In Nigeria, a civilian can’t wear a camouflage, some doctors impregnating their patients, pastor-member relationship and many more. So these issues gave birth to the title of the song Matter.”
He also stated that music has always been a passion even though he has artistes signed under his label, he also wants people around to know that Afro fusion is taken over.
GMG Boss was due to release his debut music project in October, but due to the protests during that period had to postpone it to the first quarter of next year. He is very excited about the body of work and wants his fans to expect great sounds off the project.
He will be hosting a mini concert this festive season in line with the federal government’s social distancing regulations.
