Fast-rising artiste, Goya Menor, has said his December viral hit, Ameno Amapaino, now has a remix with the popular French singer, David Guetta.

The hitmaker disclosed this in a statement he issued early last week

In the statement, he said, “the Ameno Amapiano remix with Guetta is ready, and there are three other versions of it.”

While saying his upcoming Extended Play (EP) will feature some Nigerian artistes, Goya revealed, “the biggest project on my EP is the Ameno Amapiano remix with Guetta, then Zlatan, Magnito and Zoro, called the Wazobia remix. The concept is to give the song a new essence that people would love while covering the three major ethnic groups in the country.”

Six months after its release, Tik-Tok recognised its huge impact in the creative industry with over 4.7 million video creations globally and 9.5 billion views on its #amenoAmapianoRemix challenge on the same platform.

During the period, it topped the Apple Music Charts in several countries such as Thailand, Uganda, South Africa, Thailand, Ghana, Sweden, Kenya, Nigeria and more.

“The remix with Guetta is just one. I have more international collaborations with great acts like Eric Levi and Kyera. I’ve reached out to more international acts from France, US, and UK. It’s not just a Goya Menor thing anymore, but a global phenomenon,” Goya said.

“You already know the original and what it sounds like. The remix is definitely far from the original, which promises to be better and bigger than what it used to be. The EP is still in process, and we are taking our time. It will be dropped, strategically.”

He further announced his distribution deal with Sony Music Germany, which is preceding his tour into the United Kingdom and Europe.
