Nigerian singer and songwriter Kotrell has released his debut album, And Everything In Between, a 15-track body of work that explores the emotional terrain of love, heartbreak, healing and commitment.

Released via ONErpm, the album unfolds as a complete narrative, tracing the journey of two people through connection, uncertainty and reconciliation. Across its fifteen songs, Kotrell leans into the intimate traditions of R&B, placing songwriting and emotional detail at the centre of the listening experience.

Songs such as “Talk To Me,” “Deserve It,” and “Love Me Slow” introduce the project’s gentle, reflective tone, while collaborations with Amaeya on “Easy For You” and Dwin The Stoic on “When You Know” expand the album’s emotional and sonic range. The closing track, “I Choose You,” brings the record to a thoughtful conclusion, presenting love as an enduring act of commitment.

The album features production from Deeyasso, ShabbaProducer, Nuel Beatz, Wildxyouths and Zyrx, with Kotrell also contributing as a producer on select records.

Speaking on the album, Kotrell said: “This album is for anyone who has loved, lost, or is still hoping to find it. I wanted to capture what it feels like to go through all of it. The good, the hard, and everything in between.”

Kotrell first introduced listeners to his songwriting with the EP Love is… in 2023 and followed it with Forever in 2024. And Everything In Between builds on that foundation, presenting an artist committed to documenting the complexities of love with care and precision.
