NFVCB Lagos Chapter holds week

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Lagos chapter of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) is organising the 2022 Week to celebrate its workforce.

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Lagos chapter of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) is organising the 2022 Week to celebrate its workforce.

The event, which is scheduled to hold from October 26 to 28, 2022, is themed: “Imbibing Healthy Culture in the Creative Industry in Nigeria.”

In a statement signed by Comrade Elijah Ademisoye, Chairman, RATTAWU NFVCB Lagos Chapter, “the keynote speaker, Mr Hafiz Oyetoro, is expected to speak on the theme.”

The opening ceremony, which holds at the Terra Kulture Art and Studio, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 11.00 a.m. 

The statement said Executive Director/CEO of NFVCB, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, is expected to grace the occasion. 

Also expected at the event are the RATTAWU chapter chairmen and secretaries and state council executives ably led by the state council chairman, Comrade Adejumo Ishola Ismail, who is also the chief host.

The three-day programme promises to be eventful. There will be a Road Walk from Obalende to the South West Zonal Office of the Board in Ikoyi, Lagos from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.

Other activities lined up to mark the Week include a health talk from Health Insurance providers and experts on pension matters from pension administrators. 

The second and third days of events will hold at the National Film and Video Censors Board premises, Alagbon Junction, Ikoyi Road, Lagos. There will be an empowerment seminar in agripreneurship and e-commerce from a well-grounded expert.

There will also be free eye checks and cultural dance displays and other entertainment activities like Ayo Game, Draft Game etc. on Thursday and Friday at NFVCB Complex, Ikoyi, Lagos.
