Nigerian troops have neutralised suspected terrorist commander, Kachalla Ibrahim Battijo, in a coordinated security operation in Kogi State.

The operation also disrupted key elements of Battijo’s network, dealing a significant blow to the group’s activities in the region. Security sources said the successful mission forms part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, banditry, and other violent crimes while enhancing security and protecting communities.
