The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, will grace the 15th Western Zonal Accountants’ Conference of the Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) holding March 8 to 11 at the Youth Centre, Redemption Camp, in Mowe, Ogun state.

The Western Zonal Districts Chairmen and Grand Patrons and Patrons of Host District, Dr. Olusola Dada, and Western Zonal Chairman, Mr. Alabi Samuel Adebayo, said Abiodun would grace the event as a special guest of honour while Adeboye is the spiritual father of the day.

Oba (Dr) Festus Oluwole Makinde, Lisoyi (I) is the royal father of the day of the event tagged ‘Disruptive Economy: Implications for Accounting Profession’.

The event will open with two plenary sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday with the sub-themes,

‘Pandemic: the effects on the Nigerian Economy,’ ‘Accountability Index and Transparency in Governance,’ ‘CAMA 2020 and Ease of doing business in Nigeria,’ ‘Post Retirement: What Next?’ and ‘Dental Hygiene: Mouth-Body Connection and Halitosis’.
