CardinalStone wins Africa, Nigeria’s Best Broker Awards

CardinalStone Securities Limited

CardinalStone Securities Limited has been named Africa’s Best Broker and Nigeria’s Best Broker at the Euromoney Markets Awards 2026, reinforcing its position in the continent’s capital markets.

The double recognition, announced on October 16, marks the second consecutive year the firm has won the Africa’s Best Broker title, following its 2025 award.

The latest honours build on CardinalStone’s previous recognition by Euromoney. In 2024, the firm was named Best for Equities in Nigeria before securing the Africa’s Best Broker award for the first time in 2025.

CardinalStone said the awards reflected its market performance, expertise and commitment to delivering value to clients.

The firm has also maintained its position as the Nigerian Exchange’s number-one securities firm by transaction value for four consecutive years, from 2022 to 2025, supported by its institutional and retail client base, market research and trade execution capabilities.

Speaking on the recognition, CardinalStone Securities Managing Director, Peter Omoregie, described the awards as an affirmation of the firm’s consistent performance and the confidence clients have placed in its services.

“Winning Africa’s Best Broker for the second consecutive year, alongside Nigeria’s Best Broker, is a significant honour and a strong affirmation of the consistency of our performance,” Omoregie said.

He attributed the achievement to the expertise and dedication of the firm’s employees, as well as its commitment to building a world-class financial institution of African origin.

Omoregie added that the firm’s ambition extended beyond industry recognition to delivering value, increasing market participation and contributing to the development of Africa’s capital markets.
“We remain committed to raising the bar and creating long-term value for our clients and stakeholders,” he said.

Also commenting on the awards, CardinalStone Executive Director, Elile Olutimayin, said the recognition reflected the Securities team’s hard work and consistency.

She expressed appreciation to clients for their continued confidence in the firm, adding that CardinalStone would build on the achievement.
The company said its continued investment in technology, research and client-focused solutions had strengthened its ability to serve different categories of investors and improve access to capital market opportunities.

It added that it would continue to expand its capabilities and support the development of Africa’s financial markets.

CardinalStone also thanked its clients, partners, stakeholders and employees for their contributions to the achievement.
