CIBN holds 2022 yearly general meeting

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), has concluded plans to hold its 2022 yearly general meeting where new officers to run the affairs of the Institute in the next two years will be elected.

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), has concluded plans to hold its 2022 yearly general meeting where new officers to run the affairs of the Institute in the next two years will be elected.

The meeting will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Bankers House, Victoria Island, Lagos, and will be presided over by the outgoing President/Chairman of Council, Dr. Bayo Olugbemi.

The offsite electronic voting, according to a statement, will be opened to all financial members on Wednesday, April 6 and will close on Saturday. Members are advised to update their email and phone number via the Institute website to be able to receive their voting credentials.

Chairmen and chief executives of banks, past presidents of the Institute, presidents of other professional bodies, top government functionaries, fellows, honorary senior members and associates will attend the meeting and have voting right to elect new officers.

The meeting will also consider the annual reports and accounts of the 2021 operations of the Institute.
