Kiakiago Travels has set out plans to expand its operations in Nigeria’s travel market, even as it seeks to improve service delivery for travellers.
The company, which unveiled an entertainer, Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz as its brand ambassador in Abuja, said Nigerian travellers continue to face inefficiencies across the travel and aviation ecosystem, particularly in dealing with foreign service providers.
General Manager of Kiakiago Travels, Abiola Bakare, said the firm aimed to reposition Nigeria’s travel and logistics experience by offering more reliable and accessible services.
According to him, persistent challenges such as delays in processing travel documents, poor coordination among service providers, and weak customer support systems have affected the experience of many Nigerian travellers.
He argued that indigenous companies should take on a more prominent role in addressing these gaps.
“We believe Nigerians should no longer be treated as secondary participants in global travel systems. This is about ownership, dignity, and efficiency. Indigenous companies must begin to play at the highest level of the travel and logistics industry,” he said.
