Bank gives cheques to promo winners

Fidelity Bank Plc recently gave out cheques to some of its customers, who were winners in its ‘Get Alerts in Millions Promo Reloaded’ draws, in Lagos.The cheques were given to three customers from the Lagos region of the bank, who won N1million, N2million, and N3million naira respectively.....

Fidelity Bank Plc recently gave out cheques to some of its customers, who were winners in its ‘Get Alerts in Millions Promo Reloaded’ draws, in Lagos.The cheques were given to three customers from the Lagos region of the bank, who won N1million, N2million, and N3million naira respectively, with three other customers winning consolation prizes of a TV set, a generator, and a refrigerator respectively.

Abdullateef Olarunwaju, a business man, received the cheque of N3million; Samuel Oruchalu, another businessman got a cheque of N2million;, while Chizoba Nwaoba got for N1million.Aslo, Ekemezie Chidiebere went home with a HD TV set, Clinton Akonam took home a generator, and Okafor Anthony got a refrigerator.

In her address, the Deputy General Manager and Regional Bank Head, Victoria Island, Chinwe Iloghalu, said this was the second presentation of cash and consolation prizes in the ‘Get Alert in Millions Promo Reloaded’ draws.  

According to her, this is the bank’s way of showing appreciation to her customers, encourage savings culture among Nigerians, by empowering them, adding that every region in the country is represented in the promo draws.  

“Today, Christmas has come early for Fidelity and we are appreciating our customers. The cash winners have received alerts immediately after they were presented with their cheques. We are Fidelity, and we keep our words,” Iloghalu said.

Speaking with journalists, Olanruwaju, winner of the N3million bi-monthly draw for the Lagos region, said it was a surprise to him, and not until he got the alert on his phone, did he believe it was not a dream and I will also give out. I will use part of the money for working capital, and I will give some part to charity. I urge other customers of the bank to cultivate savings culture because that was what helped me to win.”
