Overland Airways has unveiled plans to resume flight services on the Lagos-Akure route on March 23.
The Chief Operating Officer, Overland Airways, Aderonke Emmanuel-James, told journalists in Lagos that the airline would operate the Lagos-Akure-Lagos route on Mondays through Saturdays, offering morning arrival and departure to and from Akure.
She said that flights would depart Lagos to Akure at 08:30 and Akure to Lagos at 09:40.
She described the flight resumption as a milestone in the airline’s commitment to providing reliable and convenient air travel services to the people of Ondo state and adjoining communities across the Southwestern zone.
“With the existing Abuja-Akure-Abuja flights, it complements and strengthens our dedication to providing safe, excellent and customer-centric air travel services to our passengers. Welcome back and we look forward to seeing you on board.
She explained that the schedule was designed with its customers in mind and assured them of the consistent and reliable flight services that the airline is noted for.
Besides the new Lagos-Akure flights, Overland Airways is also expanding its route network with the restoration of flight services from Lagos and Abuja to several destinations across Nigeria, including Ibadan, Oyo state; Warri, Delta state; Jalingo, Taraba state and Minna, Niger state.
Plans are also on to launch other routes, she assured.
