Union Bank unveils upgraded branches in Port Harcourt

In line with its objective to provide simpler and smarter banking solutions to its existing and prospective customers, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, has unveiled two new upgraded branches in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In line with its objective to provide simpler and smarter banking solutions to its existing and prospective customers, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, has unveiled two new upgraded branches in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
  
Speaking at the unveiling, the Managing Director of the bank, Emeka Emuwa, said the transformed branches are fully equipped to deliver quick and efficient services to its customers in a vibrant and conducive environment.
  
He said: “Our newly upgrade branches simply manifests the work we have put in the past three years to ensure that our customers are offered the simplest and smartest of banking solutions. From our innovative products to our digital platforms – UnionOnline and UnionMobile, we are poised to meets our customers at the point of their banking needs.”

   
“As we approach our centennial anniversary, we remain committed to doing even more and getting better so as to achieve our goal of delivering quick and efficient services to our customers,” he added.
   
Complimenting the MD/CEO, the Transformation Director, Union Bank, Joe Mbulu noted that the bank’s identity is a result of the transformation objectives, which ensures quality upgrades and improvements from our technology and banking platform to our people and processes.  

“We have also provided innovative banking products – UnionKorrect and UnionGoal to help our customers achieve their savings objective,” he said.He further explained that the transformation bank’s over 100 branches across Nigeria, have brought 20 per cent reduction in transaction process time, as the bank continues to reaffirm its commitment towards providing world class facilities that best suit customers’ banking needs.

Commending the bank for making available relevant banking channels, the CEO Aniecolt Enterprises, Miss Aniekan Billy said, “I usually have high expectation from any financial institution I bank with, especially with regards to their digital platform and I must say Union Bank’s online banking service is a game changer, the experience on their app is truly fantastic.”

The bank as part of activities for the unveiling, also hosted Port Harcourt Millennials to the sophomore edition of its leadership and networking series entitled, ‘Engage’, an avenue for professionals and entrepreneurs to share innovative solutions on how to better navigate Nigeria’s economy.
