Participants commend RenewableTecNigeria for POLARSTORE training

Participants at the 5 day training program received their certificates.

Participants at the solar hybrid cooling training program – POLARSTORE – held at the Lagos Energy Academy, GRA Ikeja have expressed satisfaction with the quality and depth of the training. The five-day POLARSTORE training was organized by RenewableTecNigeria, a public private renewable energy firm in partnership with Nigeria renewable companies and their Dutch counterparts.

The program was attended by engineers and technicians to support businesses in critical sectors to meet their cold storage needs amid Nigeria’s volatile energy market ”

The goal of the RenewableTecNigeria’s developed POLARSTORE training program was also to bridge the gap in cold chain infrastructures by integrating renewable energy powered storage solutions and ensure efficiency and sustainability in key industries such as agriculture, healthcare and logistics.

The program, which was set up in collaboration with Rubitec Nigeria Limited, a COREN-certified training institute, and other RenewableTechNigeria partners in the country was aimed to advancing skill through training.

According to the MD of Rubitec Nigeria Limited, “This training program was designed to equip engineers and technicians with hands-on expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of solar-powered cold storage systems.

“The program was developed in collaboration with Han University of Applied Science, Independent Energy, The Dawson Group and Larive International, all based in Netherlands.

“The curriculum was tailored to address the unique energy challenges faced in the Nigerian context, ensuring relevance and applicability.”

He noted that the successful completion of this training program marks “a pivoted steps towards to a more sustainable energy future for Nigeria.”

The training program encompassed a series of workshops and hands-on sessions designed to provide participants with practical knowledge of renewable energy systems.

Topics covered included solar energy integration, energy storage solutions, and efficient energy management practices.

In an interview with journalists, some of the participants expressed satisfaction with the quality and depth of training.

One of the participants, Mr. Akolo Emeka Francis highlighted the hands-on approach as particularly beneficial, adding that, ” the trainers are highly knowledgeable and provided real insights into renewable energy implementation.”

Another participant, Mr Kenneth Teacher noted that “the practical session allows us to directly apply the concepts learned which significantly enhanced our understanding ”
