Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa is currently meeting with the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and 51 Vice-Chancellors and heads of tertiary institutions accused of misappropriating student loan disbursements, The Guardian can confirm.

The meeting which is currently holding at the headquarters of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is held behind closed doors.

The Minister is expected to brief the Press after the closed door session.

Recall that the meeting was postponed last week, due to what a source described as ‘scheduling conflicts’ by the Minister.
