The master class, according to the organisers, will give insights on topics such as, ‘The Art and Science of Brand Building’, ‘Strategic Media Management’, ‘Digital Metrics that Matter’ and ‘Effective Agency Management’ and ‘Effective Business Communication’.

Facilitators for the master class include, chief marketing officers/chief commercial officers, heads of marketing/heads of communication of ADVAN member companies.

Also heads of agencies such as, Alphabet Media Academy, a member of Media Independent Practitioners Council of Nigeria (MIPAN) and Digital Bananas (affiliate of the Digital Marketing Institute London).

The marketing officers forum is titled, ‘Business Growth in a Volatile Economy: Facts versus Myths’. Speakers for the day are, Mr. Baker Magunda, the CEO of Guinness Nigeria and Dr. Doyin Salami, CEO Of Kainos Edge Consulting. Salami was a member of the Central Bank Monetary Policy Committee and member of the Economic Management Team of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

This session will attract chief executive officers, chief financial officers and chief marketing and communication officers of ADVAN member companies as discussants. Dr. Tayo Otunbanjo of the Lagos Business School (LBS) is expected to moderate the session.

The chief marketing / communications officers’ forum is exclusively for CEOs of organisations, as well as heads of marketing and communications, marketing communications directors, marketing directors, general managers — marketing and communications — as it relates to each organisation.

Mrs. Ose-Ediale said the forum was birthed out of a need to provide the nation’s business leaders with a platform to better navigate the fast changing marketing communications landscape as well as provide insights on the adjustments that leaders need to make in order to effectively deliver profitable business growth.
