Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim community, the Fifth Khalifa, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has advised Ahmadi Muslims to be excellent in their endeavours, as this will please Allah and develop a connection with God (SWT).

Speaking at the three-day Islamic conference of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association in the United Kingdom, the group head urged Muslims to focus on prayers alongside their duties.

“With all your heart and considering that you are duty bound to serve the guests of the promised Messiah (peace be upon him) seek to fulfil your duties and objectives. Further seek to guide and train those who are new to duties that, apart from your work, as an Ahmadi Muslim you must set the very highest example of the worship of Allah the Almighty and developing a connection with Him. You must also focus on your prayers alongside your duties and must not neglect them in any way. May Allah the Almighty enable you to do so.”

While mentioning the progress of the organisation, he said that the group has established 123 mission houses, 615 primary schools and 80 secondary schools in 11 countries, 37 hospitals in 12 countries, 25 radio stations globally and 505 books published in 96 countries among others.

He advised volunteers as Jalsa workers to conduct their duties with diligence and to be regular in prayer. “Participants should continue to wear facemasks as a precautionary measure.”

Ahead of the three-day event, Ahmad visited the various departments tasked with organising and running activities during the period. He was briefed on the arrangements as he inspected the site and gave directives to ensure the comfort and well-being of participants.

He also visited various exhibitions run by Makhzan-e-Tasaweer, the Review of Religions, Humanity First, Islamic Outreach (Tabligh) and Al-Hakam, an exhibition by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s Press & amp; Media Office entitled ‘Islam in the Media’ among others.
