Speaking at the virtual launch, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SafeLify, Dr Bisi Tofade, said the new app is designed to assist investors, tourists, students and those seeking medical care in Nigeria.

He said this integrated approach aims to provide travellers with immediate access to medical consultations, legal assistance, and a smooth airport experience, ensuring peace of mind throughout their journeys.

“SafeLify leverages state-of-the-art technology and strong partnerships with leading hospitals, pharmacies, and other institutions. This allows travellers to connect with healthcare professionals and legal experts from anywhere in Nigeria,” he said.

Tofade further explained that the services would be available through the user-friendly SafeLify platform, adding that subscribers would also find it helpful in case of urgent medical needs.

According to him, in such situations, SafeLify would help locate nearby hospitals or clinics, and take care of prescriptions by arranging for medication delivery from local pharmacies.

He stated that SafeLify, through its platform will also provide on-demand access to legal experts familiar with Nigerian laws and regulations, offering support with a variety of legal matters, including advice and consultation, emergency legal support for immediate assistance with disputes, detentions, business set-up, and emergencies.

“Our services include access to telemedicine consultations, emergency legal support, and comprehensive safety resources, crafted specifically for the unique needs of visitors to Nigeria,” he said.

Tofade further informed that the company has forged partnerships with major hotels and event organisers to enhance security measures and facilitate a seamless experience for international visitors.

According to him, access to home care and wellness services such as nursing, wellness check-ups, and routine wellness visits from healthcare professionals to monitor health and provide preventive care for aged parents and relatives of Nigerians in the Diaspora were available.
