‎Power Oil’s WalkHeartOn initiative

Power Oil’s WalkHeartOn initiative has reinforced efforts to promote heart health, physical activity and healthier lifestyles among Nigerians, recording 11,896 physical attendees at its 10th anniversary edition.

The event, held on October 1, 2026, at The Stables Sports Ground, Surulere, Lagos, to mark World Heart Day, recorded 25,536 registrations, according to the organisers.

Over the past decade, WalkHeartOn has evolved from a conventional health walk into a broader community-focused wellness initiative, providing Nigerians with opportunities to engage in physical activities while raising awareness about preventive health and healthy living.

The 10th edition featured fitness activities, health checks, games, refreshments, music and entertainment from Mr P and Brain Jotter, combining physical exercise with other activities aimed at encouraging healthier lifestyles.
