The management of Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State, has terminated the appointment of a former Head of Department (HOD) of Civil Engineering, Engineer Danjuma Alhassan popularly known as ‘’General’’ over the allegation of sexual harassment of a female student of the institution.

The Governing Council of the institution had its 91st regular meeting held on January 30, 2020, where the appointment of the lecturer was terminated. This was contained in a letter issued on January 31, 2020, and signed by the Deputy Registrar, information and protocol Mr. Samuel Obochi.

According to a student who pleaded to be anonymity said ‘’ General is used to the act of abusing female students in the campus, and once he asks any female student out and the student refuses to dance to his tune, the student should be expecting carryover or extra year.

Another student of the institution said: “if General know that you are the boyfriend of the student that he’s asking out just be expecting hard life within the school premises.’’
