Women in Out-Of-Home Advertising in Nigeria (WOHAN) is set to hold its inaugural meeting today, July 25, 2023 in Lagos.

The coordinator, Adeola Odesanya, said, “our vision is to empower women in WOHAN by creating an inclusive environment that recognises and amplifies their talents expertise leading to a more diverse and equitable industry.”

Odesanya said the association’s mission is to support women in Out of Home Advertising by providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to promote their professional growth.

Through advocacy, education and collaboration, she said they would strive to break barriers, foster equality and ensure equal opportunities for women to excel in the industry.

The Chief Executive Officer and Lead Consultant Ladybird Advertising Limited, Mrs. Bunmi Oke, is the keynote speaker and she will be talking on the topic: “Women in OOH Media: Issues, Challenges and Prospects.’

The logo of WOHAN is also expected to be unveiled at the event.
