Olayemi needs N8m for immediate kidney transplant

Olayemi Oladipo, aged 32, was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease in July 2018 and now requires N8 million to undergo immediate kidney transplant in India to rescue her fast deteriorating health.

The medical report signed by a Consultant Nephrologist at Gbagada General Hospital, Dr. A. A. Busari said: “Olayemi has feature of severe uraenia, anaemia and hypertension. After thorough evaluation and investigation she was diagnosed to have end stage renal disease.”

She is also known to haven uncontrolled hypertension following pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) since eight years ago.

She was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease and is currently on maintenance haemodialysis twice weekly for sustenance pending renal transplant.

She has had several heamodialysis sessions and multiple blood transfusions.

Her mother, Mrs. Bosede Inyang, is appealing to well-meaning Nigerians, corporate organisations, non-governmental organisations and the government to help her raise money for her daughter’s transplant procedure as her condition is deteriorating on a daily basis.

Inyang lost one of her sons last year and is seeking assistance to save her daughter’s life.
