Poultry association urges members to tackle challenges

The National President of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Ibrahim Mam, has urged poultry farmers in the country not to be discouraged by the situation facing the business in the country.

The president, who was represented by the National Vice-President, Southwest of the association, and Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Prince Olabode Adetoyi, made the call during the 2020 World Egg Day celebration in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

At the event organised by the Oyo State chapter of PAN, Dr Adetoyi urged poultry farmers to be meticulous in their business notwithstanding the daunting business climate.

Adetoyi also called for synergy between researchers and lecturers to optimise the production of poultry farming.
