Reminisce renews brand ambassadorship deal
It was excitement and cheers at the head office of a Guinness Nigeria, Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, during the week as alternative rap artiste Remilekun Safaru, popularly known as Reminisce signed a contract to renew his endorsement deal as ambassador for Orijin Bitters brand.
Speaking at the event held at Guinness corporate head office, Portfolio Director, Lager and RTD, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Ms. Eyitemi Taire, said, “The music artiste had within his short stay as Orijin Brand Ambassador distinguished himself and become an integral part of the brand”.
According to Taire, the company recognises the importance and impact of a dynamic brand ambassador in maintaining its leadership position in the market. She added that Reminisce is not just a Brand Ambassador but an integral part of the brand and it was why the brewing giant was renewing his contract for another two years.
Responding, Reminisce thanked Guinness for considering him worthy of being Orijin’s brand ambassador, and promised to continue to make Orijin the brand that it should be.
He noted that having been signed on as a brand ambassador in January last year, his success as a recording artiste and brand marketer motivated the company to retain him for two more years.
Also, present at the signing were Brand Manager, Orijin, Gbemileke Otun, Corporate Communications Manager, Olayinka Edmond, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Ibrahim Okulaja, CEO, Edge Records & Business Manager for Reminisce and entertainment lawyer, Mr. Demilade Olaosun who also represents the interests of Edge Records.
