In a bid to celebrate outstanding community and social projects by corporate organizations in Nigeria, SERAS- CSR Awards has announced its call for entries. The ceremony which is slated to take place on the 5th of November 2016, will also be celebrating its 10th-anniversary edition of what has earned it the position of being the biggest, most consistent, most credible awards of its kind on the African continent. Having enjoyed nine highly successful seasons, organizers- TruContact CSR Nigeria promise that the 2016 edition will be bigger and more exciting.

The theme for the awards is: Sustainable Development Goals and The Future of Africa: Organizations as The Game Changers. Assessments and categorizations would be based on the recent globally launched seventeen sustainable development goals.

The SERAS – CSR Awards is an annual project which aims to promote as well as raise awareness about the roles organizations play with emphasis on their responsibility towards stakeholders and the social development of Nigeria and Africa. The SERAs, Nigeria’s first and premier Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards aims to substantiate the case that corporations who are socially responsible stand to gain huge benefits in regards to the triple bottom line – economic, social and environmental capital.
