Bobrisky flies out first-class after EFCC release
Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, left Nigeria just days after being released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Bobrisky, who didn’t share his destination, revealed in videos posted on his Instagram story Monday morning that he was travelling in luxury, flaunting his first-class ticket.
“See you soon, Nigeria. This girl bought a first-class ticket three times; that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl,” he bragged. With his usual flair, he joked about his passport photo, calling it “disfigured.”

Bobrisky’s departure is the latest twist in his ongoing scandal. Just last week, he was reportedly stopped and escorted off a KLM flight at Murtala Muhammed International Airport as he attempted to fly to London.
He claimed to have sustained injuries during the encounter and quickly informed his followers about the incident online.
It was gathered that Bobrisky was taken to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja after this scuffle. There, he faced questions over allegations that he offered officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.
The ‘Mummy of Lagos’, who is in his 30s and often stirs social media drama, has been in the spotlight since April 2024, when he was sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse.
