Deadpool & Wolverine is the first R-rated film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is a departure from the usual family-friendly style of Marvel. It is expected to have explicit scenes, bloody content and vulgar humour. All the things fans love about Deadpool.

The film is supposed to be the third sequel to Deadpool and Deadpool 2 but it is not quite that. This is because some of the characters from the previous installments won’t be moving to the upcoming film. Characters like Domino and Cable will not be making an appearance.

In addition, themes of the multiverse and time travel will be deeply explored in the film. This will also be Deadpool and Wolverine’s first appearance together since they appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.

The film is expected to be released on July 26, 2024.
