Nothing beats a grand entrance, and two of the three new housewives, namely; Adeola Adeyemi a.k.a Diiadem and Dabota Lawson got the script well figured out.

Diiadem, founder and CEO of Beauty by AD, is already making waves. She opens up about being a single mum to her six-year-old daughter and clears up misconceptions about her past. “I was never married, just engaged to the father of my child,” she says. Her energy? Calm but with a warning: “Don’t look for my trouble.”

Dabota Lawson, a beauty mogul and self-proclaimed “Queen of Queens,” enters confidently. “You don’t have to like me. You don’t have to love me. But you must respect me,” she declares. Dabota also reveals she has some reservations about Laura, thanks to a controversial post on her sister’s blog years ago. Still, she’s willing to give Laura a chance, saying, “I’m looking forward to knowing Laura as Laura.”

Of course, it was only episode 1, but already Diiadem and Dabota are looking like the genuine article as the bond and love between them was unmistakable.

Amid all the shade on day one, one bright spot is the budding friendship between Dabota and Diiadem. When the two met at Laura’s event, the energy was pure good vibes. Their banter is seamless, their smiles genuine, and honestly, it’s refreshing to see

But before we get into Episode 1 full-scale, let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane.

Last season was a whirlwind. From Mariam cutting ties with her long-time friend Toyin Lawani to Laura forming alliances with Faith Morey, it was nothing short of a rollercoaster. Faith was undoubtedly the star last season, delivering plenty of jaw-dropping moments. Despite the chaos, we were hooked—and now, Season 3 is looking the part already

Laura and Mariam’s Lunch Date: Business, Shade, and Toyin Talk
The season opens with Laura Ikeji and Mariam Timmer meeting up for lunch. Laura, ever the hustler, wastes no time pitching her upcoming event. She’s counting on Mariam, the PR pro, to bring the magic. A-list guests, the best vibes, and, as she puts it, “people that will bring money.”

But it wouldn’t be RHOLagos without a little drama. Laura brings up Mariam’s ex-bestie, Toyin Lawani—a topic Mariam is clearly done with. “There are some conversations I do not want to have, and that name is one of them,” Mariam quips in her diary session. Is Laura poking at old wounds? Messy, but classic housewives.

The lunch ends with glasses clinking, but it’s clear this conversation isn’t over.

Carolyna vs. Laura: Can They Ever Reconcile?
Carolyna Hutchings graces our screens again, and she’s bringing her signature glam. While catching up with her friend Elizabeth, she opens up about her rocky history with the ladies.

Her feud with Laura, in particular, is still raw. Season 1 saw them trading serious allegations—Carolyna accused Laura of being pimped, while Laura claimed Carolyna cheated in her marriage.

Years later, Carolyna is still waiting for an apology. Laura, however, feels she deserves one, too. “The fact that the allegations were made at all put me in a tough spot with my family,” Laura admits. Will they finally bury the hatchet this season?

This season, the cast chemistry is already giving what it needs to give! While initial tension from past perceptions caused a few awkward moments, it quickly fizzled as the ladies started getting to know each other better.
