Former Barcelona and Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o tied the knot in a grand style with his Ivorian bride Georgette Nicole Tra Lou, in Stezzano, Italy on Tuesday, June 14.
Georgette, according to sources, was the Cameroonian football superstar’s long-term girlfriend and that they have been married since 2007 but were yet to hold a white wedding.
The breathtaking event had hundreds of people gathering to witness the duos wedding outside the church.
The 35-year-old star, who currently plays for Antalyaspor in Turkey, was dressed in a sharp grey suit and arrived in a vintage car. Meanwhile, the bride, Georgette, mother to two of his children, looked radiant in a white wedding gown as she arrived at the church in another vintage automobile.
Other stars who showed up to support the striker include, Eto’o’s former Barcelona FC teammate, Puyol, multiple-award winning saxophonist, Manu Dibango and Cameroonian music group, X-Maleya.
