FUNAAB student murder: Stop killing, raping us, says Ayra Starr
Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has condemned the killing of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Christianah was kidnapped between Ikorodu and Yaba in Lagos and was later reported to have been killed by her abductor.

Christiana, who was completing her industrial training at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), left her residence in Ita Oluwo, Ikorodu, before being kidnapped.
In a post on Ayra Starr’s X page, she condemned the incident and demanded swift justice for the victim.
“Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah,” she wrote.
However, investigations has led to the arrest of the suspect at his parent’s house in Ikorodu.
Evidence, including the victim’s phone and details linking the suspect to ransom transactions, was said to have been found on the suspect’s device.
The hashtag #JusticeForChristiana is trending on Nigeria’s X platform, with over 105K posts recorded at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, Lagos State Police Command also confirmed on X that the 23-year-old Ayomide Adeleye was handed over to them by the 9 Brigade of the Nigerian Army on September 5, 2024, at around 2:00 PM.
“23-year-old Ayomide Adeleye has been handed over to @LagosPoliceNG by 9 Brigade @HQNigerianArmy, ” the post read.
