Funke Akindele releases Christmas song ahead of film premiere

Ahead of the much-anticipated premiere of Everybody Loves Jenifa in cinemas on December 13, Funke Akindele has treated fans to a festive surprise with the release of a Christmas song, Everybody Loves Christmas.

The song, performed by D’banj, Falz, Waje, and the cast of the upcoming film, is produced by music maestro Cobhams Asuquo.

Taking to Social media today, December 3 2024, she wrote, “Do not forget to click on the “set reminder” button to be alerted when the premiere starts also you can also live chat with the stars.”

Everybody Loves Christmas is now available on all streaming platforms, setting the mood for the holiday season and building excitement for the film’s release.

Akindele recently announced the movie’s premiere date in a comical Instagram video, where the cast of her previous film, A Tribe Called Judah, battled it out with her latest project in a tug-of-war. The hilarious clip ended with Everybody Loves Jenifa claiming December’s spotlight.

The film boasts lineup of stars, including Omowunmi Dada, Nancy Isime, Falz, Stan Nze, and Jackie Appiah, and promises to be another hit from the award-winning actress and filmmaker.

With both the song and film creating a buzz, Funke Akindele is ready to own this festive season.
