‘Home Alone‘ Macaulay Honored on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Actor Macaulay Culkin, best known for his iconic role as Kevin McCallister in the “Home Alone” films, was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
Culkin, 42, unveiled his star at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard in front of a crowd of fans and onlookers. The ceremony was attended by Culkin’s fiancée, Brenda Song, and his co-stars from “Home Alone,” Devin Ratray and Catherine O’Hara.
In his speech, Culkin thanked his fans, his family, and the filmmakers who helped make his career. He also spoke about the challenges of growing up in the public eye.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Culkin said. “I’ve been working since I was four years old, and I’ve been a public figure since I was six. It’s been a lot, but I’ve had a lot of support along the way.”
Culkin’s star is the 2,715th to be placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He is the 12th actor to receive a star for his work in the “Home Alone” franchise.
