Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Alaseyori, has given birth to a baby boy, adding another child to her growing family.
The announcement was made on Thursday, May 29, via her verified Instagram page, where she shared a heartwarming video of herself cradling her baby bump and giving glory to God.
Captioning the video, she wrote, “The journey of 40 weeks ended in praise. I’m well and our son is in perfect condition. I’m officially mother of two boys and a girl.”
Alaseyori, 33, who rose to fame with worship songs like “Oniduro Mi” and “Arojinle”, also thanked fans, friends, and colleagues for their prayers and support during her pregnancy.
“Thanks to everyone that journeyed with us through it all. Thanks for your care and concerns.”
The news triggered a wave of congratulations from fans and celebrities.
Actress Bimpe Akintunde dropped a celebratory comment, “Oluwaseun :dancer::dancer::dancer: congratulations,” while gospel colleague Toluwanisings shouted, “Omooooooo I don born :joy::joy::joy::dancer::dancer::dancer: haaaa oluwaseun oooooooooooo.”
Comedian and gospel performer Woli Agba also expressed joy, writing, “Congratulations Dear Sister. We thank God for the journey and safe delivery.”
Alaseyori got married in 2017 and has remained one of the most respected voices in gospel music.
