A final-year student at the University of Lagos in the Department of Computer Science, Ololade Ayelabola, has surpassed 60 hours in her attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest distance walked on a catwalk by a model.

On September 1983, GWR delivered a certificate to Ireland for the longest distance walked on a catwalk by a model.

However, Ayelabola has been walking on a catwalk for over four days to bring the record home.

In her latest update on Instagram, she announced that she had reached sixty hours: “Yess! We are officially at sixty hours into the attempt!!”

She expressed her gratitude, saying, “Grateful to God for the strength & grace till this moment!”

She also took the time to appreciate the supporters who have come out to cheer her on, both in person and online.
