Fuji music star Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has expressed gratitude to God after surviving a life-threatening surgery.
The singer, known for his energetic performances and catchy lyrics, underwent a complex medical procedure that posed significant risks. Despite the gravity of the situation, Obesere has emerged from the surgery and is reportedly in stable condition.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Obesere shared that the surgery nearly cost him his life, but he was fortunate to survive.
He wrote, “The Almighty Allah has been merciful to me. I escaped a surgery that almost took my life, but Allah said NO!”
Fans and colleagues from the entertainment industry have expressed relief and sent well wishes to the musician, thanking medical staff for their excellent care and expressing hopes that the singer will be back on his feet soon.
