Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd is back and in the mood to break a few hearts with his new song “Heartless”.

In “Heartless” The Weeknd’s first single in 2019, shuts out his emotions:

“And I’m back to my ways ’cause I’m heartless
All this money and this pain got me heartless”

“Tryna be a better man, but I’m heartless
Never be a weddin’ plan for the heartless”

In November last year, during his concert in Toronto, The Weeknd announced that he was working a new album:

“I want to let you guys know, being in Toronto these past two days, I haven’t been this inspired in years,” he said. “I want you guys to be the first to know that I’m working on my new album right now. Chapter Six coming soon.”

The Weeknd had earlier released an EP titled “My Dear Melancholy” in 2018. His last full-length project was his 2016 album “Starboy”. The album won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in January 2019.

The Weeknd has won three Grammy Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, nine Juno Awards, and has been nominated for one Academy Award. He has sold over 70 million records worldwide.
