Ohanaeze

Ohanaeze Ndigbo, yesterday, said the North should free itself from the illusion of ethnicity, noting that the southern presidency will unify the country and end the insecurity challenges in Nigeria come 2023.

In a statement, in Abakaliki, the group’s Secretary General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) hope of clinching power with ethnicity and religion cards had been dashed based on the fact that “President Muhammadu Buhari’s scorecard as a northerner did not favour the North, but rather worsened the insecurity challenges.”

He said Nigerians are only “enthusiastic to have a virile leadership in 2023.”
