The Osun State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as its preferred presidential candidate for the.2027 general election.

The party said Makinde possesses the leadership qualities, administrative experience and national appeal required to lead the country, urging him to consider seeking the nation’s highest office.

Speaking on behalf of the party, APM leaders argued that the governor’s performance in Oyo State has distinguished him as one of the country’s notable sub national leaders, adding that his governance style has earned him support beyond partisan lines.

The party maintained that Nigeria needs a leader capable of addressing the country’s economic and security challenges while promoting national unity and inclusive development.
