The Peoples Democratic Party, via its official X account @OfficialPDPNig, has announced the scheduling of its 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting following the signed resolution of two-third of the members of the Committee.
In the statement signed by NEC Members, the meeting will hold on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00pm, after due correspondence with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in line with the provisions of Section 31 of the Constitution.
The announcement states that attendance is strictly for statutory members of NEC, including PDP state governors, National Assembly members(PDP caucus), Board of Trustees, State Chairmen, former NWC members, former governors, principal officers of the NASS, and other designated stakeholders or members of INEC.
The party reaffirmed that “NEC remains dedicated to the stability, unity and success of the PDP,” emphasizing its commitment to internal democracy, party discipline, inclusivity and the wellbeing of the Nigerian people as it marches to victory in the 2027 general elections.
