2027: TIM, City Boy Movement partner to mobilise votes for Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu

The Tinubu Impact Movement (TIM) has sealed a historic alignment partnership with the City Boy Movement (CBM), marking a decisive step towards consolidating nationwide grassroots mobilisation of votes for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the next general election.

Speaking at the event in Abuja, the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, described the partnership as a deliberate convergence of structures to send a clear message that youths are not on the sidelines but leading from the front.

Olawande, who is Co-Patron of City Boy Movement, disclosed that under the collaboration, TIM committed to mobilising 2.5 million votes for Tinubu out of the 10 million votes targeted nationwide by the City Boy Movement and its partners.

He said: “This commitment is anchored on verified data, structured organisation, and a rapidly expanding TIM grassroots network across the country rather than wishful thinking.

“The partnership recognises their leadership, commitment to youth empowerment and their strategic roles in shaping youth participation in the next electoral cycle. It also signals deeper coordination between both movements as they pursue grassroots mobilisation within the framework of the Electoral Act and Renewed Hope Agenda.”

In a related event, TIM visited the APC national secretariat where they met with the National Deputy Chairman (North), Dr. Ali Bukar Dalori, and engaged him on its structure, expansion strategy, and mobilisation roadmap.

TIM also formally conferred on him the role of “TIM Leader” in recognition of his leadership and commitment to progressive politics.

While accepting the honour, Dalori commended the movement and pledged to provide guidance, facilitate connections to the party leadership, and connect TIM to opportunities for support groups.

He further assured of his readiness to support the movement in any way necessary to ensure its growth and meaningful contribution to its objectives.
