Primate of the African Church, His Eminence, Julius Olayinka Osayande Abbe has warned the Federal Government to take caution in its recent policies, in order not to further plunge the country into more calamities.

Abbe, who gave the advice during his episcopal visit to the African Church, Christ Cathedral, Igbore, Igbore Missionary Diocese, Abeokuta, Ogun State, he said the country has failed to follow the right way, which is why killings, kidnappings, banditry, corruption, untold hardship and the likes are on the increase. “From happenings we’re all witnessing, there is no gainsaying the fact that our leaders have missed their way and are treading on the wrong path. If care is not taken, God forbid, we may be heading for the rocks.”

He appealed to all and sundry to embrace the light of God and follow the right way, enjoining all to allow the light of God to shine on their path for the nation to experience peace and tranquility.

He charged the leaders to allow God’s spirit lead them aright and help them direct the affairs of the country.

All Christians were also urged not to fold their arms but to always pray for the nation at all times.
