Abducted corps members,  other Benue Links passengers regain freedom in Zamfara

Two corps members posted to Kebbi State for one year mandatory service, who were abducted in Zamfara State alongside passengers of Benue Links transport company have regained their freedom.

Two corps members posted to Kebbi State for one year mandatory service, who were abducted in Zamfara State alongside passengers of Benue Links transport company have regained their freedom.
  
The abductees, all indigenes of Benue State, include a male and female corps members going for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation. There was also a female student of Uthman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto State and another girl, who was visiting her relatives.
  
Confirming this development, a sister to one of the  victims, Sember Iorliam, told newsmen on phone yesterday that her sister and other victims were released around 6:00p.m on Tuesday.
 
She stated: “They were released from the bush around 6:00p.m. on Tuesday, but they were brought to town around 7:00p.m. Those who regained freedom were, the two corps members, Jennifer Awashima Iorliam, Joseph Zaaka, Sendo Kondo, student of Uthman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto and Ruth Sensuur Tsokar.
  
Others were two brothers, Muhamadu Saminu and Safiam Muhamadu. The released corps members were said to have proceeded to Kebbi State for their NYSC programme.
