It listed the state’s Broadcasting Corporation, Polytechnic, Aba, College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba and College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu, as some of the affected institutions.
The Speaker, Chinedum Orji, who confirmed this at the weekend, said it was in this regard that the House set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate months of salary arrears owed workers in the institutions, which generate revenue with a view to finding a lasting solution to the development.
