The two lawmakers, Senator Theodore Orji and Sam Onuigbo of the House of Representatives had attracted rehabilitation of the road from the federal government, who awarded the over N13 billion contract since 2016.
But works on the road have not made appreciable progress and have caused untold hardship and heavy vehicular movements and commuters between the two states and has a negative impact on economic activities.
Ikoh, who spoke with The Guardian during the commissioning of four classroom blocks donated by Onuigbo at Ekebedi Community primary school located on the road, commended the lawmakers for their efforts but wants them to complete the road.
