Abia governor appoints Sam Hart
Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the appointment of Sam Hart as the Director General of the Abia State Marketing and Quality Management Agency.
In this new role, according to a statement written by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka, Hart will implement the vision of the governor, which is to expand existing markets and find new ones for all goods produced in the state. The agency is also mandated to outline and enforce quality standardisation of all goods made in the state.
He takes over from the pioneer Director General of the agency, Uwaoma Olewengwap who is now the Honorable Commissioner for Industries. The appointment takes immediate effect.
