THE African Democratic Congress (ADC) will commence sales of nominations and expression of interest forms for the 2027 general elections Tuesday this week.

The party has further pegged its presidential nomination forms at N100,000.000.00 Governorship at N50,000.000.00 million , Senate N20,000.000.00, House of Representatives N 10,000.000.00 and N3,000.000.00 for the state House of Assembly .

According to the timetable sited by The Guardian, women and people with disabilities will pay partry 25 percent of the amount specified for every position they wished to contest .

The document also stated that while the sale of forms will close on May 10, 2026; submission of completed forms will take place on 11 and 13 of May, 2026.

Screening of aspirants is slatted for 14 and 15 of May 2026 while names of screened aspirants will be published on May 17. Appeals will be held on 18 and 19, final list of cleared aspirants will be published on the 20 while it will hold it’s special national convention on May ,27, 2026.

The ADC’s schedule of events leading into the 2027 general elections also includes primaries elections that will produce state Assemblies , House of Representatives , Senate and Governorships.
