Adeleke files petition at Osun election tribunal
Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the September 22 governorship and September 27 re-run elections in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has filed his petition at the state election petition tribunal challenging the outcome of the election.
Adeleke and his party are challenging the declaration of candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Briefing newsmen yesterday shortly after submission of the petition to the Secretary of the tribunal in Osogbo, Osun State capital, the state chairman of PDP, Mr. Soji Adagunodo, said the party would win at the tribunal.
