Adesina, Ayeni, others laud Emokpae’s The Pilgrim’s Testament

Former Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina; Founder of Tantalizers Plc., Dr Folu Ayeni; Director-General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Prof. Eghosa Osaghae, and other dignitaries, have unveiled The Pilgrim’s Testament, written by the founder of Macedonia Call Global Academy, Rev. (Dr) Osaren Emokpae.

The event, held yesterday in celebration of Emokpae’s 70th birthday and the 25th anniversary of Havilah Open Door Group, drew a distinguished audience from Nigeria’s corporate, ecclesiastical, and academic circles.

The book, subtitled ‘The Cradle’ and ‘Peace and Visioning,’ chronicles Emokpae’s personal, professional, and spiritual journey from his early days in Ehor, Edo State, through civil war experiences, corporate leadership, and global ministry.

Adesina, while reviewing the book, described it as “a tell-all narrative,” deeply reflective and spiritual.  He said that Emokpae became a bridge-builder in a time of discord, adding that his sacrifices were not easy, but his submission to God’s will brought healing across multiple fronts.

“The vision is for an appointed time, this book is for everyone struggling with rejection, failure, or the burden of reconciliation,” he said. Earlier, in his opening remark, Chairman of the event, Ayeni, described Emokpae as an intellectual per excellence and an embodiment of God’s goodness.

Ayeni noted that Emokpae’s track record spans marketing, consulting, logistics, philanthropy, and ministry, yet, he remains humble and devoted to people, particularly the poor and vulnerable.

Attendees at the event included senior clergy, former colleagues from the corporate world, friends, and family members, who gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of a man many described as a pilgrim still walking faithfully with his God.
